Some others are made to be stay at home moms and some just aren't. There is nothing wrong with either decision. It sounds like you are both happier the way things are. Good for you!cjcrashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14579223494482389202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19216419.post-65831791752026883712011-01-11T02:52:45.451-05:002011-01-11T02:52:45.451-05:00Wow, I'm so jealous. I read posts by moms whose kids play quietly while mommy does grownup things, and my mind boggles! Long story short, I love our child to death, but after almost 2 years without a break I am BURNED OUT.

But we can't afford daycare, and she's not good with strangers anyway. (The one time I tried daycare during BlogHer, I had to come back after 15 minutes to stop the endless, heart-rending sobbing. I assume she'd get used to it eventually, but can't put that kind of stress on a daycare provider.) Thought of trading off with another SAHM, but there are issues there too. So, just counting the days till she starts school and feeling jealous over your wonderful situation. Enjoy it!!TwoWishes Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16803149849293331364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19216419.post-420636324518442132011-01-10T20:40:18.452-05:002011-01-10T20:40:18.452-05:00Long time reader.
I just want to applaud you for...Long time reader.

I just want to applaud you for making this tough decision. In this time of blogified mommy wars, it takes courage to talk about this.

Also, don't let people convince you that daycare --> someone else raising your child. Someone else is watching him and being involved in his life, day to day, but when push comes to shove, you are his mother and will be there for the real parenting moments :)kellynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19216419.post-32652300826500713472011-01-04T19:43:00.815-05:002011-01-04T19:43:00.815-05:00WOW that daycare sounds amazing!

I have so many mixed feelings about it (like you said, someone else is raising my child). Well today she mentioned that our daughter might have an ear infection. I thought she was crazy; our daughter is acting fine, totally normal and happy, but we went to the doctor anyway because I didn't want the daycare provider to say that we needed doctor clearance for our daughter to come baack. Turns out she has an infection in both ears. Sometimes you just need someone else to help you out!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19216419.post-10260454519495711762011-01-03T13:24:09.410-05:002011-01-03T13:24:09.410-05:00It sounds like you have found the perfect situatio...It sounds like you have found the perfect situation.
